Special Cash Prizes for the Winning Schools Teams

We offer a special cash prize for schools competing in a school team 4km Run event, with awards presented in both the Primary School and High School categories.

School teams must consist of students only, with a designated team leader and a minimum of three students entered in the same event. Team rankings will be determined by the combined times of the three fastest runners from each team.

The prize is awarded to the school (for example, the P&C Association), rather than individual team members. The winning school’s prize pool is calculated at $20 per participating student. For example, if 50 students from the winning school enter the event, the school would receive a prize of $1,000.

Entry fees are $18 for participants under 16 years of age and $35 for those aged 16 and over.

We recommend that schools create their team through our online registration system here, then provide students and families with the team details so they can join when registering. You can find details on how to set up a team here.

Parents and family members are also encouraged to participate by creating their own teams and joining in the fun.
