Stall Site Terms & Conditions

SITE CATEGORIES    Applications are invited in two Primary Site categories:

(1)  Food Hall Sites  – for stalls that offer any food, beverage or showbag items, including ice cream or coffee; and
(2) General Market Sites – for stalls other than Food Hall Stalls)

LOCATION   Stalls will be located in the Arthur Byrne Reserve adjacent to the South Maroubra Surf Life Saving Club.  Enter off Fitzgerald Avenue at Maroubra Beach.   Food Hall Sites will be grouped in a Food Court area.  General Sites will be arranged in avenues radiating from the central activity area.

SITE ALLOCATION    As a general rule sites will be allocated in the order in which Applications are received, so the earlier we get your Application the closer your stall is likely to be to the central activity area.  Each site will be clearly marked and numbered. We reserve the right to determine all site locations, and all stall-holders must confine their operation within their allocated area.

SITE SIZES    Each site will be approximately 15 square metres (3m frontage x 5m deep).   If you require a larger area you will need to reserve one or more Extension Sites adjacent to your Primary Site (For example, if you use your van or trailer as part of your stall, or if for any other reason your your total stall area will take up more than a single site space, you must also reserve one or more Extension Sites).

WHAT YOU GET  We provide the site only.  You will need to bring your own tent, tables, chairs and signage.  There will be generator power available if you do not have your own power source, but you will need to bring your own leads.  We recommend you bring sufficient leads to span 100 metres.

OPTIONAL EXTRA If you want to take the hassle out of set-up and knock- down, consider a ready-erected fete stall for an extra donation of $200 (this is a fundraising event and ALL proceeds go towards helping our local community). Your stall will be erected before you arrive, and dismantled after you leave, and all you will need to do is fill it with your wonderful wares. Fete stall dimensions are 2.4m x 2.4m. This option is ONLY available for applications received no later than September 16th 2016.

OPTIONAL VIRTUAL BAG It is a virtual goodie bag for all participants.  So rather than you having to print off enough vouchers/flyers for each bag, and someone having to physically fill the bags, it means you submit an electronic voucher. This could be a special promo offer for the participants, i.e. a trial visit, of a flyer promoting your business. Click here to see last year’s Virtual Event Bag.

DONATION  We are a not-for-profit organization.  Donations will be refunded if your site application is refused, but are otherwise non-refundable.  Proceeds from the sites go to the South Maroubra Surf Life Saving Club, the Rotary Club of Maroubra and the Lions Club of Maroubra.

SET-UP AND PARKING  Access for set-up will be available from 6am on the morning of the event.  Unless you have reserved sufficient Extension Sites to accommodate your vehicles, they will need to be relocated to the adjacent parking area by no later than 9am.  The entry road will be closed from 9am until the end of the race at around 11am.

INSURANCE    All stall holders must have current Public Liability insurance cover of at least $10m and must provide a copy of the Certificate of Currency with their completed Application Form. This is not expensive, and can be obtained online (e.g at http://www.aami.com.au/business-insurance ).

    I have a food stall that provide Turkish gozleme and Turkish sizzling I have been giving service in the festivals and markets for several years if you do have a spot available for me and my team I would like to hear from you asap.
