Timing and Certificates

The Fun Run events are professionally timed by Multisport.  Each entrant is issued with a numbered race bib and an electronic tag.  The timing system  provides two times for each entrant – gun time and net time. Gun Time is the time from the starting gun until you cross the finish mat. Net time is the time from when you personally cross the start mat until you cross the finish mat. The official race results are determined by gun time. Net time gives a more accurate indication of your personal performance, especially if you are towards the back of the pack at the start.

 

When everyone has completed the course, a certificate recording your event participation and time will be available and trophies will be presented to category winners.  If you are not able to stay for the presentations and obtain a certificate on the day, you can download a blank certificate here (4k certificate – 8k certificate) and write in your own times.
