Calling all Fitness Clubs – Put Your Training to the Test 2019

The Maroubra & Districts Chamber of Commerce organises the annual Maroubra Fun Run and Oktoberfest.  It is in its 24th year and is now Maroubra’s biggest and best annual family/ community day.  This event raises funds to support the South Maroubra SLSC, Lions Club of Maroubra and Rotary Club of Maroubra.

This year we are offering an incentive to gyms to ‘Put Your Training to the Test’, so we can find the fastest gym teams.

The winning Gym team will receive:

• A trophy for ‘Winning Gym 2019’ – awarded for the 4km and 8km run categories
• It is not possible to award these trophies on the day so we will:
  • Announce the results on social media
  • Announce the results via our newsletter
• Advertising on our website for 12 months with a backlink to your website
  • The image is to be supplied by the winning gym
  • There will be an option to change this image up to 4 times in the 12 months

How do you enter a team:

• Go to our website – http://maroubrafunrun.com.au/how-to-enter/
• Click on the link to ‘Register Now’
• Follow the prompts to set up a team
• The team name MUST be in the following format to be eligible for the prizes
  • GYM – [Club Name] – Event
    • eg GYM Vision PT – 4km Run
• Set up a password which you can give to your members to enter and join the team

As well as the Fun Run, there is the Oktoberfest Market which gives you the opportunity to hire a stall space to promote your business and have an area for your team to meet.  A stall space is $75 for the day.  Click here for more information and to download a Stall Application Form.
